Our Vacation This summer we went to Virginia. It was awesome! First we stayed in Lexington a few days. During that time we went a Virginia Safari where you could feed many different animals. We were feeding deer that surrounded our car. But we got out. Then these ostriches tried to peck holes in our buckets. We stopped to feed more deer when a pig & piglets came. A piglet started getting cozy next to our tire. When it went away 8 foot elks came to eat food! We next saw bison and their calves. We attracted one which I fed. When I fed it, it stole my bucket. More bison came. One of the bison licked a family member. The same bison stole another bucket. Another family member put food on the cooler for the bison. The bison saw the buckets where we got food. This 2000 lb. monster almost jumped into the van! Afterwards we went to Natural Bridge. Which Thomas Jefferson bought for $2.40!(also 167 acres of land!). We got to go to Busch Gardens and ride Griffon. (A vertical drop coaster. With a holding brake for drop!)Alpengiest is a wild inverted roller coaster with cool inversions (loops & corkscrews). Big bad wolf is a rough suspended roller coaster!( with the coaster cars that hang from the track ). Loch-ness monster was too rough! It gave me a headache! A fun one was Apollo's Chariot it is one of the smaller giga roller coasters. Escape from Pompeii (pom-pay) was the coolest , everything inside caught fire imitating the unexpected volcano eruption in Pompeii then you go down a steep hill into a pool of water. I got soaked! |
